While replicating a building in Blender I circled around the model and hit that perfect SimCity 2000 isometric angle. I wanted to draw something from that angle and use it for some perspective and shading practice, immediately the office came to mind.
Starting with an aerial shot from google maps and some photos I’d been commissioned to do for the work website I got to work.
I know Illustrator packs its own perspective tool but for isometric drawings like this I like to draw my own grid as a layer so I can turn off individual directions or just have a little easier control of what lines are showing. It is simpler for the simple perspective I am going for.
